                        tin can telephone


tin can telephone  are very easy to make. 


tin is the fourth element of the fourteenth. Column of the periodic table. It is classified as a post
transition metal. tin  atoms have 50 electrons and 50 protons with 4 valence electrons in the outer.



under standard conditions tin is a soft silvery-grey metal it is very malleable and it can be polished to shine.



tin can telephone  are a way to communicate by talking in the can.
All you to do to make a tin can, is get a can and put string through it.  
You can tell secrets to each other and no-one can hear you.

  1. We talked about the word 'malleable' in Room 10. Malleable means that it is strong but can be forced into a shape without it breaking. We are going to make a tin can telephone at our house - I wonder how long the string can go!
